He is a painter and engraver. His painting has a marked hedonistic character, since in his forms of expression everything tends to exalt the joie de vivre.

His work is powerful, lyrical, always faithful to his origins. He paints landscapes, still lifes, flowers, Mediterranean beaches and figures bathing, among others.

Among the painters of his generation, Ramis is a master, perhaps unique, in the use of pastel and colors.
